Select an appropriate‐sized bed. Choose the smallest size bed that will sleep those who'll be using it perfectly. Place the bed close to a wall to prevent the available room from feeling smaller than it is. Leave enough space for travelling the bed.
Keep all objects to range in the bed room. Avoid large furniture pieces with ornate inlays and large, overstuffed cushions. Choose home furniture with clean lines that don't take up more room than they have to (think Scandinavian). An ironwork bed is a good choice for a tiny bedroom because the bed frame takes up hardly any space. Select a lower bed, as this can look smaller visually.
